Our TWu3a Interest Groups are open to TWu3a members who have paid their year’s subscription (September 2025 – August 2026)

All of our groups are run by members who have volunteered to take on the role of sole or joint contact. Interest groups are formed by members with similar interests who generally get together regularly in person.

Some groups may be full. Don’t give up!

We now have an Interest Groups Admin Team. Please contact them via our Interest Groups Coordinator and they can help you find out if there are enough interested members to start a new group. New group suggestions can be promoted it in the newsletter and then a start-up meeting can be organized for those members who are interested,

Maybe you couldn’t find a group that you hoped to see on the list?  Then why not offer to start a new group? See the TWu3a group guidelines.

If you prefer to widen your horizons online then for an annual fee of £12 you can join one of the national u3a interest groups online (IGOs) listed here.

Interest Group Contacts

Group contacts and those who assist them are the lifeblood of the u3a and are supported by the Interest Groups Coordinator and the Interest Groups Admin Team. Whether you are an established or a new group contact, it is important that you fully understand your role and responsibilities, so you are encouraged to take a look here at the Guidelines for Group Contacts and Setting up New Interest Groups, Want to get more out of your Group page? Contact the Website Manager.
