Tunbridge Wells

Crochet

Joined colourful crochet squares as used for a bed cover.

We meet twice a month:

Every 1st Monday at 2.00 in the Fenwick's cafe.

Every 3rd Friday at 10.30 in Trinity.

We sometimes work on our own projects but always have a group project in progress as well. This allows us to improve our crocheting. Our squares are currently being made into blankets for refugees.

There are currently spaces in the group when it meets on Friday.

The crochet group remains very active and with some new members our range of products has increased. We still make for charity and made items to fill a table for the ‘Scott’s Project Trust’,  in August 2025.

Three members of the group went to the London Stitch Festival in March 202.5. They enjoyed the catwalk shows, seeing the huge range of craft products and the celebration of Liberty’s 150th anniversary.

Here is a sample of the things we have made some of which you will see in Trinity Arts Centre if you meet there. One member has made broaches to raise money for Ukraine.
