Who can join TWu3a? Anyone who lives in or near Tunbridge Wells, is no longer in full-time employment, and who wants to have fun, make new friends and find new hobbies and activities.
What does it cost?: £16 per person, per year. Our membership year begins in September, so if you join on or after 1 April the fee is £8. Those joining on or after 1 July pay £16, which will cover their subscription until the end of August of the following year.
What do we offer? Interest groups, outings, short breaks, meetings with interesting speakers, coffee mornings, events and much more.

Terms and Conditions of Membership: Whilst our organisation is about living, learning, and laughing together, it is still an organisation and, as such, has a number of rules and regulations so that we must:
- Abide by the principles of the u3a movement.
- Always act in the interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute.
- Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution.
- Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times.
- Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
- Advise the committee of any change in your personal details.

How to join us: You can join online, or fill in our application form and send it to the address on the form, and you will receive your membership pack.
New Member Meetings: For those who are already members or who have recently applied for membership, we do arrange New Member Meetings at which you will be able to hear more about us and meet many of our group coordinators to get more information. If one is due, you will find it listed on the events page.
